I started my career as an engineer with Transport for London (Bus & Underground) , having obtained an engineering degree at the University of Greenwich in England. I moved to New Zealand to work for a large multi national technology manufacturer. At Mitel, I was responsible for managing the small telecommunications business system product lines sold in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific markets.

I was one of the Founders of DS Squared, a company that sold billing and data analysis products for private business telephone systems. After selling that business I co-founded Dialtone after my customers expressed a need for expert analysis of billing data, assistance in procurement and contract management. I led the development of our visualisation toolset that is used today to understand complex usage and billing datasets.

​Having always had an interest in law, I returned to university and obtained a first class honours law degree. I became an enrolled barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2022.

I enjoy helping my clients navigate the process of ICT procurement and governance. I am often retained by my clients after the procurement process, to manage and chair their governance boards and take the lead in contract negotiations. I felt that my experience and background allows them to trust me to provide sound advise and leadership.

I also have an interest in open justice projects, and I am currently working to produce an employment law AI application that analyses and assists the lawyers or the lay person to understand Employment Court and Employment Relations Authority judgments.

Educated at Massey University with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree, majoring in Marketing, Business, and Economics, laid a strong foundation for future in diverse sectors. developing expertise across various marketing channels, including above and below the line, database, and online marketing. 
 
A significant emphasis in my career has been on enhancing customer service functions and leveraging technology, particularly within telecommunications, database management, ICT and more recently A.I.

My role requires direct prospecting 'C' level prospects and then ongoing management with concise communication in both large government and corporate sectors. 
 
Through my journey I have shown to be a highly proficient project manager, trained, experienced, and effective at overseeing complex projects.
 
Beyond my professional accomplishments, I am a father of five, with personal interests including TaeKwon Do, and property investment.
